Residential Sales Analysis

Southwest Ohio continues to experience increased growth in the residential real estate market.  Residential sales data over the last three years reflects substantial increases in the median sale price for residential property in Clermont County.  The median sale price for residential property was $ 190,000 at the end of 2020.
Although the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020 were far reaching, Clermont County still experienced growth in it's residential sales.  Monthly home sales continue to outperform prior years.  However, with a declining trend of inventory of homes to sell in Clermont County and the southwest Ohio, mortgage rates staying at or below 2020 rates and a slowing economy the continuation of this growth is unclear.  The Clermont County Auditor’s office will continue to monitor the market and collect sales data to give the citizens the best possible information related to their property.
